About

Welcome to the website of GRACEH 2015!

The 9th Graduate Conference in European History (GRACEH) is entitled Crisis and Solidarity in European History and will be hosted by the University of Vienna on 23-25 April 2015.

Since 2007, GRACEH has been jointly organized by the Central European University, the European University Institute and the University of Vienna. The conference takes place annually at one of the three universities. The idea of GRACEH is to bring together young researchers from different disciplines working on European history. We try to include a variety of topics, ranging from the early modern period to contemporary history. GRACEH provides a platform not only to discuss methodological approaches but to enable exchange with peers and senior academics. Young scholars have the possibility to present their current research projects or chapters of their theses.

Apart from people enrolled at our partner universities, we equally encourage scholars from other institutions to apply to the conference.
